Kathy Prendergast is an Irish contemporary artist internationally recognized for her evocative drawings, sculptures, and installations that explore themes of memory, place, identity, and loss. She represented Ireland at the 48th Venice Biennale in 1999, where she was awarded the prestigious Silver Lion for her work. Her work has been exhibited extensively in Ireland and internationally and is held in major public and private collections.
